Greetings Gibraltar family and students!

My name is Ms. Peterson and I am the seventh and eighth grade reading teacher as well as the secondary reading specialist.  I'm thrilled to have you in class with me this year and look forward to learning along the year!  This year you'll explore lots of different texts and genres, as well as learn reading strategies and lifelong literacy skills to set you up for success.  Take a look at the seventh and eighth grade specific pages to find out more about your specific units of study.

This is my tenth year of teaching and I have taught fifth through eighth grade, specially in the areas of language arts and social studies.  It is my second year here at Gibraltar.
